Program Description

The Family Theory and Research Certificate prepares students for entry-level roles in human services and other fields that value analytical thinking, problem-solving, and research-informed decision-making. Coursework emphasizes understanding family dynamics through major family theories and applying systems thinking to real-life family, organizational, and social challenges. Students develop foundational skills in interpreting research, analyzing data, and drawing evidence-based conclusions.
