The 2026-2028 BYU-Pathway Catalog: What is New?
An academic catalog contains course and program requirements that students must satisfy to earn credentials (certificates, associate or bachelor's degrees). Each student's catalog year begins when they matriculate into BYU-Idaho or Ensign College courses. The 2026-2028 BYU-Pathway catalog applies to students who matriculated on or after Block 3, 2026, or May 4, 2026. Students can choose to move to the newest catalog year, but if they do so they must meet all requirements for the new catalog.
Students on old catalogs still have visibility to their requirements as they look at the published catalogs online. Courses being replaced in the 2026-2028 catalog each have specific teach-out timelines for students on older catalogs.
