Course Description
This course provides a hands-on exploration of essential functions within a company’s accounting department, focusing on accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll management. Students will gain practical experience processing customer and vendor invoices, handling payments, and administering payroll systems.
1. Demonstrate skills needed to support accounts receivable processes by performing routine tasks that contribute to efficient cash collection and accurate record-keeping.
2. Demonstrate skills needed to work within a company’s accounts payable department.
3. Demonstrate skills needed to work with a company’s payroll department.
