General Psychology
Course Description
This is an introductory course in Psychology which surveys the various fields of psychology and application of selected psychological principles to life situations.
1. Know the major concepts, theoretical perspectives, empirical findings, and applications in psychology.
2. Apply psychological principles to personal and social issues.
3. Describe where psychology is compatible or incompatible with the gospel.
4. Recognize the core assumptions that underlie the theories in psychology.
