Agile Project Management
Course Description
Students learn to develop software quickly and reliably using Scrum, the popular agile framework used within the software development industry. Students participate in Scrum teams taking on various roles and implementing software engineering best practices. Students create and use scrum artifacts such as the product backlog and burn down charts.
1.Manage a complete project from concept to completion using an Agile Scrum framework.
2.Exercise a deep understanding of Agile principles and Scrum values and when and how to apply them in the software development process.
3.Know the key roles, artifacts, and process in following a Scrum methodology.
4.Do user story mapping and the 5 levels of planning.
5.Create an inspect and adapt culture within their own work environment to drive continuous improvement and team empowerment.
6.Draw from their experience in an actual multi-week development project using the Scrum framework and their role as a Scrum Master, Product Owner, and team member.
