Minimum Age Requirements
Statement of Policy
BYU-Pathway Worldwide, Ensign College, and BYU-Idaho applicants must meet the following age and education requirements to be eligible for admission:
PathwayConnect Program Participants
All PathwayConnect applicants ages 16 and 17 will be admitted if they have completed high school/secondary school or its United States equivalency. This may include completion of a GED, a state approved home school program, a HiSET diploma, or an IB diploma.
Any applicant age 18 and above will be admitted if they meet all other applicable admission requirements.
International students, ages 16-17, who have not completed US high school equivalency will be manually reviewed.
Any applicant under the age of 16 will not be admitted for PathwayConnect, online certificate, or online degree programs.
Direct Admit Online Certificates and Degrees Applicants
All direct admit applicants age 17 or above will be admitted if they meet all other applicable admission requirements.
