General Admissions Policy
Statement of Policy
BYU-Pathway Worldwide accepts qualified students of various talents and backgrounds for admission into online certificates and degrees from BYU-Idaho and Ensign College. Admission is granted without unlawful discrimination on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin, religion, sex (including pregnancy), age, disability, genetic information, or veteran status, provided that the applicant:
meets the institutional admission requirements, including ecclesiastical endorsement requirements and honor code compliance associated with the intended program of enrollment;
resides where BYU-Pathway Worldwide is approved for operation and is not precluded from participation by local laws or restrictions; and
is otherwise qualified as determined by institutional policy.
PathwayConnect
To be enrolled in BYU-Idaho and Ensign College online certificates and degrees offered through BYU-Pathway Worldwide, students must first successfully complete PathwayConnect. PathwayConnect includes foundational academic and religion courses. While students complete PathwayConnect, they are not enrolled in online certificates and degrees offered through BYU-Pathway Worldwide. Although ecclesiastical endorsement is not required to be admitted to PathwayConnect, PathwayConnect students are asked to learn about the Honor Code and strive to live it.
