Church Education System Nondiscrimination
Statement of Policy
BYU-Pathway Worldwide, BYU–Idaho, Ensign College, and Institutes of Religion prohibit unlawful discrimination on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin, sex, religion, age, disability, or any other basis protected by applicable law, in employment, education, and all BYU-Pathway Worldwide, BYU–Idaho, Ensign College, and Institutes of Religion programs and activities.
Notwithstanding the above, as educational institutions sponsored by and affiliated with The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (“Church of Jesus Christ”), BYU-Pathway Worldwide, BYU–Idaho, Ensign College, and Institutes of Religion lawfully give strong preference to qualified, faithful members of the Church of Jesus Christ in employment and admissions decisions.
Consistent with its religious affiliation and purpose, BYU-Pathway Worldwide, BYU–Idaho, Ensign College, and Institutes of Religion require all faculty, staff, and students to abide by the Church Educational System Honor Code, which contains essential elements of the religious values, practices, and beliefs of the Church of Jesus Christ.
